Surprise Welcome Home Party
This was sent to us last night from our friend Gordon. Please feel free to share the link with your contacts to make this the biggest coming home party ever.
Most often we welcome home only the soldiers we happen to know personally, and we take no notice that there are so many. Likewise most often returning soldiers are only aware that friends and family are glad they are home safe and they are unaware of how many more we are. It would be easy if they all came home at once, but it is possible to collectively welcome one with such gratitude and joy as if each and every other were also there with him. A curious thing about community is that pain shared is dissipated while joy shared is amplified. Bridgette is offering her community the opportunity to share her joy.

I would be honored to be part of this “Welcome Home Party”. Since you want to include as many people people possible, I would be glad to forward your invite if it is ok with you. Let me know. I’m sure others would too.
