Electronic Pickpocket

We saw this on the news either last week or early on this week. This actually happened to a guy I work with. He got a call Friday that there was an unauthorized attempt to use his debit card. A few minutes later he got another call for the same thing (different people had his number). No purchases were made because the stores thought it suspicious that the female customers names were Brian.

There appears to be quite a few places to get sheaths for your credit or debit cards. There are also places to get special wallets that prevent scanners from reading the chips on those cards. Frankly this is so new to us that we can not recommend where to purchase these items but it might be a good idea to start looking into it.We’ve even seen these wallets on Amazon.com.
