Fireworks in Pinal County

We’ve been asked a lot lately what the regulations are for fireworks in Pinal County. The short answer is that you can buy them in Pinal, but it is illegal to use them in the county. Here is an Arizona Republic article from June 30th. All the way at the bottom it states for Pinal County, “Use illegal at all times”.

In June of 2011 the Board of Supervisors issued a ban on consumer fireworks “if a reasonable risk of wildfires exists”. They went on to say the ban would be lifted when “the risk has subsided due to increased rains”. And it’s been pretty dry. Here is the official release from the county in 2011.

Have a safe Fourth and maybe cya down in front of STH!
