Cancer Patient Dakota Clark Running in her own Charity Event
You may remember the post I did back in August about the young cancer patient who had donation jars stolen for local Walgreen’s stores. Her name is Dakota, and she is still fighting cancer. Not only in the traditional way, but she will be running in her own race this weekend in the HEROES RUN FOR DAKOTA. “The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office organized the family fun event that will take place on Saturday, March 30th at Banner Ironwood Medical Center in San Tan Valley.”
Sheriff Paul Babeu stated, “The donation jars had close to $300 of change generously donated by the public for this brave little 8-year-old girl battling cancer. With the help of the public, the suspects who stole the donation jars were identified and arrested by deputies. Law enforcement now wants to do more to help Dakota with her battle against cancer. Members of the public who would like to help are encouraged to participate with the Heroes Run for Dakota.”
